1) He approach his work lazily and carelessly when he is an employee, but he is more hardworking, pay more attention to his work when is self-employed.
2) He adopt/follow a good work ethic when he is self-employed but he will adopt a bad work ethic when he is an employee.
3) He will adopt a carefree approach to his work if he is an employee but he will approach his work more serious when he is self-employed.

Can somebody help me correct the sentences above? I really hope I can receive help. Thanks in advance.

Look at sentences 1 and 2 again, concentrating on the correct third person singular present simple verb ending.
