Unlike 1 which needs "to", when you use an adverb like "here/there" as the destination for "take/bring", don't you ever need "to" as "here/there" already has the meaning of "to" in them? Isn't there any exception?

1.He brought/took me to the clinic
2.He brought/took me (to) here/there

There is no exception that I can think of.
