Hello there,

I don't quite get the meaning of this sentence. I know the vocabularies but to me it doesn't make any sense when putting them all together. Here is the sentence:

"He needs a woman who is grounded and in-tune with the realities of life so she can help him keep his feet on the ground"

Does it simply mean a woman who is to get along well with him or what ?

It means a woman who is realistic, down-to-earth, practical and rational, rather than one who is idealistic and unrealistic, a dreamer.
