Could you help me with the sentence. Could I write it in the three following ways? Many thanks.:-o

"If I were you, I'd look for another job."
1) He suggested that I should look for another job.
2) He suggested to me looking for another job.
3) He suggested looking for another job.

They're all grammatical. #1 is okay but a little wordy. #2 is somewhat awkward. #3 is the best.

You could also say: "He suggested I look for another job."

#3 is the best but I wonder if it makes sense for the listener to understand who is suggested? Is it important that the sentence be without "I"?

I'd probably use #1 but omit "should" or #3.
I would never use the word order in #2.
