Hello!

I can't figure out whether I should use the infinitive or the gerund in this sentence, can you help me?

"I'm rather flexible, so if you hear someone make a mistake and see me do nothing, it's normal."

Thank you.

"I'm rather flexible, so if you hear someone make a mistake and see me do nothing, it's normal."
If the speaker is a teacher talking about a classroom situation in which a learner makes an error in speaking, then your sentence is fine.

In other situations, in which the making of the mistake and the the doing of nothing are of longer duration, then the gerund becomes more likely.
