Talking about scooping formula milk:

Did the hole under the scooper get bigger? It's leaking so fast now, I barely have enough time to check if my scoop is level before it gets emptied out.

Well, holes don't leak, but something can leak because it has a hole in it. In any case, I can't figure out what the question is.

Why is there a hole in the scoop at all (except the one at the top, of course!)? A scoop usually has a solid bottom. You collect the formula (or whatever) in it and then tip it into another container.

Did the hole under the scooper get bigger? The milk (Or should I say powdered milk?) is leaking so fast now, I barely have enough time to check if my scoop is level before it gets emptied out.

EDIT:
One more thing, from the link above, what does poke up mean? A small hole at the bottom of the powder spoon is not just poke up, there is scientific evidence of (shouldn't this be for?) its existence.

And, do you call it a scoop, scooper, or powder spoon?

I would call it a scoop. And if there was a hole in it it wouldn't be any good. So I would throw it out and get a new one.

"Milk does not leak out from the hole in the bottom of the spoon."

Well, why doesn't it?

If there was a hole in the bottom of my coffee cup, do you think the coffee would stay in the cup?

The stuff on that website makes no sense.

The text on the site you've linked to was written by someone who does not know English very well. Much of it makes no sense.

Yeah, you guys are right. I didn't really read much of the text on the site until now. I was just trying to find a picture of a scoop with a hole in the bottom.

But, our scoops here do have a tiny hole in the bottom (and that scoop comes with the formula milk). It normally doesn't leak out the powdered milk, but we just got one that did.

Well, I still don't understand why a scoop would have a small hole in the bottom but if the one you have bought has a hole that is allowing formula to fall out, I would return it to the shop where you bought it and get a refund!

(Or should I say powdered milk?)

Powered milk is simply dehydrated milk- it is not formula milk for babies.
