For any English-native speaker (esp. American English since the writer is an American), how do you pronounce the name of "Ghigua" ?

In the context:
Ghiuga is the name for the Beloved Woman of the ancient tribe.
She is a gifted Wise Woman, a diplomat, and often very close to
the Great Spirit.

It seems to be variously spelt Ghigua or Ghigau.
