This is one of the filling question in my English test:

How often _____ your car serviced since you bought it?

A.do you get
B.did you get
C.had you gotten
D.have you gotten

I picked A but the answer is D. So can I still use the simple present tense here, cause this is something that you do habitually and in my opinion I can use the present perfect tense if I want to emphasize my idea.

Could you please tell me am I wrong or not?
Thank you all in advance.

If you have it done regularly, then How often do you get your car serviced is fine. Since + past time marker places the beginning of the time period in the past, and the present simple is not appropriate.
