Can we make a possessive when a proper noun ends in "z"?

1. The wedding took place at Faraz's home.
2. The wedditng took place at Faraz' home.
3. The wedding ook place at Faraz home.
4. The wedding took place at the home of Faraz.

Good question, Aamir! This a tricky point. Some say that if you pronounce the S, you should write it. But that doesn't tell you when to pronounce the S!

1. The wedding took place at Faraz's home. Yes, 100% correct.
2. The wedditng took place at Faraz' home. I think most editors would accept this. I like #1 more.
3. The wedding ook place at Faraz home. No. You need to show that it's possessive.
4. The wedding took place at the home of Faraz. Yes, 100% correct.

As far as the fourth one is concerned.

It is hundred percent correct but is it also hundred percent natural? "Because "at the home of Faraz" is it a little longer than "at Faraz's home". What would the native speakers prefer?

Yes, we would usually say "at Faraz's home." It's not unnatural to say "at the home of Faraz." It would just sound more formal. A story on the society page of a newspaper would use that kind of phrasing.
