Humans height is reducing generation by generation.

Please check my sentence. Is it correct to say "generation by generation"?
 
"Human height" or "The height of humans."

Yes, "generation by generation" is OK. Could also be "generation after generation."

Or even "humans are evolving to have shorter heights."

(That isn't true, of course. Look at the Japanese, for example. The oldest generations are smaller. Or take the average American GI in World War II and compare to the average American today.)
 
Is there a reason you want to write a more complicated version of "People/Humans are getting shorter"?

Are you saying that you read somewhere that it's a good idea to write a more complicated sentence than "Humans are getting shorter"? Where did you read that? Who wrote it? Why don't they like simple sentences?

No, I wanted to say that "I read that in some regions humans are getting shorter".

Your sentence in post #1 made no mention of the fact that this is happening only in some regions. Why not?
