Dear all,

An actor speaking about a movie "Scott Pilgrim" saying:

"it's hyper-realized hyper-stylized love story"

What is the meaning of "hyper-realized hyper-stylized"?

Thanks a lot.

I guess it's just something like:
It's an over-realized and over-stylized love story.
(In this case over = hyper.)

Cheers!

That may be so, but it leaves you to explain what 'over-realized' and 'over-stylized' means.
(I don't know either.)

 It'd help if we knew the film, as the 'hyper-' prefix can mean either 'over' or 'extremely' (which, depending on context, can mean different things). And 'realized' could have any of two or three basic meanings; multiply that by two an you're really guessing.
