Is it correct to say I am bankrupted instead of I am bankrupt? Why?
 
I am bankrupt. "Bankrupt" is the normal adjective form of the word.

"The ex-wife bankrupted me" is possible.

So only in the passive form would be correct?

Why this sentence is wrong : "I am bankrupted". instead of "I have been bankrupted"? Can't we say he was killed or he is killed?​

Because we already have an adjective form, "bankrupt." We do, in English, sometimes use the past participle like an adjective. But not when we already have a common, perfectly good word.
