Note my changes above. Why do you want to say anything other than "I'm hungry"?Suppose I am hungry at the moment and want to eat something. Can I say the following?
1. I am feeling hungry.
or
2. I am getting hungry.
I just want to know whether I can express the idea in those ways.Note my changes above. Why do you want to say anything other than "I'm hungry"?
Both are possible.I am feeling hungry.
or
I am getting hungry.
In that case, they're both grammatical but they don't have quite the same meaning. The first means that you are already hungry. The second means that you are just starting to feel hungry.I just want to know whether I can express the idea in those ways.
Yes, including myself.Have you ever heard anybody say "I am getting hungry?"
