Suppose I am hungry at the moment and want to eat something,

Can I say

I am feeling hungry.

or

I am getting hungry.

Suppose I am hungry at the moment and want to eat something. Can I say the following?

1.
I am feeling hungry.
or
2. I am getting hungry.
Note my changes above. Why do you want to say anything other than "I'm hungry"?

I just want to know whether I can express the idea in those ways.

In that case, they're both grammatical but they don't have quite the same meaning. The first means that you are already hungry. The second means that you are just starting to feel hungry.

Have you ever heard anybody say "I am getting hungry?"

Yes.

What does it mean?

The original question having been answered, I am closing this thread.
