Hello,

Can someone explain what is the meaning of the below sentence:
"I bet that made for a snoozing museum display?"
Is it an idiom expression or something like that? could you explain it in simple term? Also, what is the meaning of "Yard sailor"?

Hello.

Can someone explain [STRIKE]what is[/STRIKE] the meaning of the [STRIKE]below[/STRIKE] sentence below?

"I bet that made for a snoozing museum display?"

Is it an idiom [STRIKE]expression[/STRIKE] or something like that? Could you explain it in simple terms?

[STRIKE]Also, what is the meaning of "Yard sailor"?[/STRIKE] This does not appear in your. main sentence. Please start a new thread for this question.

Welcome to the forum. :hi:

Are you sure the quoted sentence ended with a question mark? It's an odd question. Mind you, it's also an odd sentence. My best guess is the person meant "I think it is very likely that that was a very boring display at the museum". We don't know what the second "that" refers to.

Note my corrections above.

Please correct your member profile. I think it's very unlikely that you are a Bengali speaker who grew up in Albania and now lives in Bahrain. Please don't make any more posts until you have corrected the information.
