I can't xxx to save my life means that no matter how hard you try, you fail at xxx. This doesn't work for something you just don't like.

I see. What is an expression which has the meaning that you really hate a certain kind of food?

So, we don't have an idiom similar to "I can't to save my life" about food?

You've now changed your question.

I expect you realise it's an example of hyperbole/exaggeration/overstatement, alpacinoutd, as most people dying of starvation would eat anything to stay alive.

Another example of hyperbole is I'd kill for a bacon sandwich.

And if you don't already know how to say it, this would be a good time to look up the pronunciation of hyperbole.

There is the (quite possibly literal) expression "I can't stomach X". You can actually use this for non-food items or even actions as well. The idea is that eating/doing/seeing X makes you physically ill.
