Hello,

Can you hope "something stands the test of time"? Have I used the expression correctly in these sentences?

1. I hope our friendship will stand the test of time.

2. I hope his reforms will stand the test of time.

3. I hope your book will stand the test of time.


Are the sentences okay?

Yes. And you don't need will.

For example, you can say, "I hope our friendship stands the test of time."
