Dear teachers,

"I like myself fine" means "I am satisfied with myself". Is thar right?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you in advance.

 (I know 'that' was a typo, but you may not know that there is a cse where 'that' is (or at least was) used; it's a regional variant of 'there', used chiefly (in my experience) in the whalers' call - when a whale surfaces and spouts: 'Thar she blows'. ;-))

Dear BobK,

Terribly sorry I don’t understand your explanation at all.
Could you please kindly explain that again?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you in advance.

Jiang

There was a typo in Bob's response.

He mean to say that 'thar' in your question was a typo (it should have been 'that'), but the word 'thar' could be used in a context that he explained.

Back to your original question. You are correct.
