I can imagine saying the first but not the second. I believe someone told you in a previous post that being amazed is usually a state that comes on very suddenly, rather than gradually, which is what "become" suggests.1. I saw him get angry.
2. I saw him become amazed.
Are these sentences correct?
2. I saw him become amazed.
I think (2) becomes a lot better, though perhaps not 100% satisfying, when "suddenly" is actually added to the sentence:I believe someone told you in a previous post that being amazed is usually a state that comes on very suddenly, rather than gradually, which is what "become" suggests.
