Is each sentence correct? It's about one's first day at work.

1. "When I went to work first he introduced me to my colleagues."

2. "When I went to work for the first time he introduced me to my colleagues."

3. "When I first went to work he introduced me to my colleagues."

4. "When I went to work the first time he introduced me to my colleagues."

None of them is a complete sentence. They all lack a main clause.

(Later) The main clause has now been added,

I just added it. Is a comma required to connect them?

1. "When I went to work first he introduced me to my colleagues." :cross:

2. "When I went to work for the first time, he introduced me to my colleagues."

3. "When I first went to work, he introduced me to my colleagues."

4. "When I went to work the first time he introduced me to my colleagues." :cross:

See above. I wouldn't actually use 2 or 3. I'd say "On my first day at work, he introduced me to my [new] colleagues".

I just added it.
Please do not edit posts after they have received a response, unless you are specifically been asked to. You made post 2 seem strange. You could have added the main clause in a later post.
