This is an exercise from Advanced Grammar in Use by Martin Hewings. The book's correct answer is "will work". Can't I use "will be working?

1. A. Will you work late at the office again? I want to know when to cook.
B A: We need to get this order sent out before Monday.
B: Well, I will be working/will work over the weekend if that will help.

The most natural forms for me would be:

A. Will you be working late at the office again? I want to know when to cook.

A: We need to get this order sent out before Monday.
B: Well, I will work over the weekend if that will help

If you say "I'll be working over the weekend ...", it suggests that that's already your work schedule. If you say "I'll work over the weekend ...", it suggests you're making an offer to work when you weren't already meant to be.

Yes, that strongly looks to me like it's supposed to be the right answer. Perhaps there's an editing error in the answers at the back of the book.
