I hope you guys have watched Rocky 5.

In the climax Rocky fights Tommy Gunn. During the fight Rocky says "I will put you through the street" or "I will put you to the street". I am not sure whether it was "through" or "to" so please set me straight on this.

Does it mean "I will beat you so hard that you won't be able to get up afterwards"?

In the climax of Rocky V, Rocky says, "I will put you through the street." This phrase means that he intends to beat Tommy Gunn so severely that he’ll be knocked down and unable to get back up. It’s a way of conveying intense determination to defeat him.
