'Earn' is not an idiom. 'Make a mint' is; it is quite informal.[STRIKE]w[/STRIKE] Which one of these two forms would you use?
No difference - except in the register. 'Make a mint' is slightly more formal (but still fairly informal).Thank you BobK, but I don't get the meaning of 'minting it' why is it different from "make a mint"?
