Topic: Describe a happy childhood event.

  • How you felt at the time
Explain why you remember this particular occasion.

My response:

When I was a child, I attended a memorable birthday party of one of my classmates, Judy. That was the first time I got invited to a birthday party so I was very happy, but what made me more excited was that the party was held in McDonald's. Most of the time, my mother didn't allow me to eat McDonald's food because it's oily and unhealthy. Therefore, I felt fortunate that I got the chance to eat whatever I wanted in the party.

Before the event got started, I thought we would only eat and do nothing else, but what we were going to do was more than I'd expected. During the party, McDonald's staff prepared some magic shows for us, and any child who helped perform would get a gift. After that, we had a lucky draw. I was surprised to get a rabbit stuffed toy. I didn't expect that participants would get a present. Maybe Judy's parents wanted to thank us for attending her daughter's party. I bought a Minnie mouse notebook for Judy because she liked Minnie mouse. After giving her the present, I took photos with her and some of our classmates. There were also some of her relatives, and they were nice.

At the end of the party, a staff member pushed a giant two-tier birthday cake out. Many of us wowed because all of Disney princesses were presented on the cake! It was a pity that I couldn't eat too much of the cake because I was stuffed by hamburgers! All in all, that was really a wonderful night. We had great food and games. Most importantly, it was an opportunity to bond with my classmates and we got closer after that. It was definitely the most unforgettable night ever.

Oil is liquid.

Use "at" for events.

I bought a Minnie Mouse notebook for Judy because she liked Minnie Mouse.
The word "mouse" there is part of a name, so we capitalize it.
There were also some of her relatives at the party, and they were nice.

Many of us wowed cheered in excitement because all of Disney's princesses were represented on the cake!

Most importantly, it was an opportunity to bond with my classmates and we got closer after that. it was definitely the most unforgettable night ever (for me).
