This is a practice text for the speaking part of the IELTS exam. Please correct it and make it colloquial.

Topic: Describe a successful small business that you know about. (Source)

You should say:
  • what business/company it is
  • what this business does
  • how you know about this business
and explain why you think this business/company is successful.

My response:
Once I stumbled upon an Instagram account that promotes the IELTS exam training and the Government test preparation. I browsed it a bit and found that they'd helped a lot of people achieve their desired scores. I think the reason they're successful because they personalise their courses and adapt to students' needs. For example, they provide one-to-one speaking practice so that they can focus on each student's weakness and strengths and make suggestions.

Usually, we don't get much speaking practice in these kind of courses. Typically, we just sit in the classroom, listen to the teachers and practise on our own. Therefore, I think this company already gives their students a head start by offering oral practice. I also learned that they are willing to take students who might have focus problems, such as ADHD. A case they shared was that an ADHD student had difficulty understanding the course materials, and the tutor spent extra time explaining to him and encouraged him after class. Finally, the student got a good score and his mother thanked the tutor. I believe customization sets this company apart from their rivals which only offer homogenised products and service.

Typically, we students just sit in the classroom, listen to the teachers and practise on our speaking outside the classroom on their own. Therefore, I think this company already gives their students a head start stands out by offering oral in-class (monitored) speaking practice. I also learned that they are willing to take students who might have focus problems such as ADHD. A case they shared was that an ADHD student had difficulty understanding the course materials, and but the tutor spent extra time explaining them to him, and encouraged him sometimes even after class. Finally, In the end, the student got a good score and his mother thanked the wrote an online post to show her deep gratitude to that tutor. I believe customization it's that personalization and the focus on the individual student that sets this company apart from their its rivals and which has enabled it to achieve business success. which only offer homogenised products and service.

@Maybo You could work the phrase "the personal touch" in there. Say the personal touch makes a difference for the people who take the course or something like that.
