Topic: Describe an important text message you received.(Source)

You should say:
  • who sent the message
  • what was in the message
  • why the person sent the message
and explain why the message was important to you.

My response:
I received an important text message from my friend, Jenny, while I was sick a year ago. At that time, I felt dizzy for two months and couldn't find out the reasons no matter how many medical tests had been run on me. It was weird because I didn't have fever or headaches. Everything was fine. My doctor told me that might be I was anxious and that it could cause dizziness. However, I didn't understand why because I wasn't working, I didn't have financial burden, or no relatives passed away. I just didn't have any thing that could upset me that hard and caused serious dizziness.

Some friends even suspected that I might be possessed or cursed by evil spirits and they asked me to find a priest. However, I was so sick that I couldn't even walk for 10 minutes, not to mention going out to find someone I wasn't sure if they could help.

Just when I was really devastated, Jenny sent me a message to encourage me. She told me that she would support me and come to workout with me. We've known each other since high school. She's always been there through thick and thin. I have a lot of trust in her. Whenever I have problems, I'll talk to her and they'll be resolved. She's got a good head on her shoulders, and she's kind. With her encouragement and company, I gradually recovered so I was thankful to her.

The doctor told you that anxiety can cause dizziness.

There was nothing that was upsetting you that much.

Your friend came through for you in a big way.
