I made up these sentences, so there’s no source. Does using “can” in the sentences in bold sound natural to native English speakers?

"This is one of the largest military airports in the country. The enemy is planning to launch another wave of attacks next month. If they take the airport, they can destroy our headquarters at the beginning of 2025.”

I am trying to write a sentence It's for the teaching materials for my students.
Please make it clear in post #1 what the purpose of your thread is. Explain what point of grammar (or similar) you're actually going to try to teach with it.

I don’t know how to edit my post 1.

You only had 24 hours to do that, so you’re too late.

In any case, you should write a new post to answer post #7.

I see you posted the same thread in WRForums, and had received three replies before you posted it here.

Please do not post the same question simultaneously to more than one forum. Doing so wastes our valuable time. Instead, post your question to one forum and wait for replies. If you're not satisfied with those replies, you can try another forum, but please indicate in your thread that you've already asked the same question elsewhere (provide a link), and outline why you were not satisfied with the answers you received already.
