I have question regarding the word 'ask' and 'tell'. I know I can say the first four sentences. But why is it wrong to say the fifth and sixth one?
1- If you have any problems, you can tell me.
2- If you have any problems, you can tell them(problems).
3- If you have any questions, you can ask me.
4- If you have any questions, you can ask them.
5- If you have any problems, you can tell them to me.
6- If you have any questions, you can ask them to me.
