I have question regarding the word 'ask' and 'tell'. I know I can say the first four sentences. But why is it wrong to say the fifth and sixth one?

1- If you have any problems, you can tell me.
2- If you have any problems, you can tell them(problems).

3- If you have any questions, you can ask me.
4- If you have any questions, you can ask them.

5- If you have any problems, you can tell them to me.
6- If you have any questions, you can ask them to me.

Usually the "why" is simply that that phrase is not used.

Say: "I have some questions regarding the words "ask" and "tell".

Are those your sentences?

Yes.

If you have any problems you can tell me about them.

If you have questions you can ask them of me.

Feel free to ask me any questions you might have.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.

2- If you have any problems, you can tell them(problems). ❌

3- If you have any questions, you can ask me.✅
4- If you have any questions, you can ask them. Not very natural.

5- If you have any problems, you can tell them to me. #1 is more natural.
6- If you have any questions, you can ask them to me. ❌
