Last night I was chatting with my friends in a local English club. We had 30 people and they sat on different places. Here's a picture of it. I was supposed to talk with Eric and Mona but there wasn't a seat for me. While Eric and Mona was tring to find me a seat, I told them I could stand and later I said "I'll just walk around and get back to you later". I said that to Mona and Eric. Since there wasn't a seat for me, I'd better walk around to talk with different people.

I'd say "come back to you later" or "come back and chat to you later" instead. "I'll get back to you later" is what we say when we mean we'll contact someone later with an answer to their question or request.
