I'm used to taking cold showers.
According to the link, whenever I use the term "be used to" it refers to an actions that was difficult to do in the past, but now not. Did I get it right?
Thus, is it strange to say "I'm used to drinking water"?

It has nothing to do with difficulty, only familiarity.

But yes, you're right that I'm used to drinking water is a bit strange because it means that the speaker was unfamiliar with drinking water in the past, and this is quite hard to imagine.

The actions were not necessarily difficult; they were just not familiar or customary.
