HOW’s In-House Design Awards recognize the best creative work produced by designers doing in-house work for corporations, associations and organizations.

The phrase is in red that means the proudct is made by mine?
Can I omit "-" here? If not, why keep the "-" here?

That is a word, not a phrase and it is hypenated. Have you checked it in the dictionary?

If not, why keep the "-" here?
I think this is because it needs a hyphen to be an adjective modifying the noun after it, but I am not a teacher.

"In-house", meaning "done within an organisation"(antonym is "outsourced"), is a word in its own right, not purposely formed to create the adjective.

I think the OP wants to know that the hyphen is needed because it is an adjective, but I am not a teacher.
