I am working with children right now, and i want t o give them the right instructions ;)

So, here are my sentences:

Put the puzzle back inside its box, please.

Put the books ?in? the bookshelf, please.

Get ?in? the car, please

Go ?into? the house, please.

Go ?into? the bathroom.

Can you give me a short explanation, when I use in / inside or into, please?

Hey,

I am working with children right now, and I want to give them the right instructions ;)

So, here are my sentences:

Put the puzzle back inside its box, please. Use "in" here.

Put the books ?in? the bookshelf, please. We put books on a shelf.

Get ?in? the car, please. This is OK, you could also use "into".

Go ?into? the house, please. Correct.

Go ?into? the bathroom. Correct.

Can you give me a short explanation, when I use in / inside or into, please?

Bhai.

Thank you!

You will also hear "Go in the house" and "Go in the bathroom" a lot.

'Jump in the shower' is also common.
