I have a question about prepositions.

In or on the staircase?

I have a question about prepositions.

Should I use "in the staircase" or "on the staircase"?

Welcome to the forum. :hi:

It's always better for you to give us complete sentences to deal with. However, in this case, use "on the staircase". I can't think of any context in which "in the staircase" would be natural.

Note that I have changed your thread title so that it is unique and relevant to the thread. I have also added a sentence (taken from your title) to the main body of your post and I have turned your question into a complete sentence. Please follow this format in your future threads.
