Why are both sentences correct?

1-I'm interested in history
2-I'm interested by history

Thanks for supporting!

Sentence #1 is fine. I would not use #2. I would say "I'm intrigued by history" instead.

I saw this in your quizzes and both were correct. (English tests-prepositions after adjectives)

By is OK. In is more common.

Some things are correct but less common than others.
