Is "the" required before "internet life"?

"They are teaching us marketing and internet life."

What on earth is "internet life" and how does one teach it?

Who are 'they'?

What a vague question, Rachel. What's the point of it?

I was wondering if "internet life" makes sense in English as it does in Russian. It's from a Russian interview about online courses. I sensed I would have trouble asking about it on the forum. :roll:It's interesting to know if there is an English equivalent of this phrase.

"Online business" perhaps?

Rachel, why did you say "Probably online meetings, work, etc"? Don't you know what you were trying to say?

I am used to hearing the term in Russian and they were talking about courses, meetings, and probably something else. It's not my field. I was curious about "internet life" only.

No, whatever that is.
