[Grammar] irregular Verb Let

Can we use "Let" in Pr.continuous : We are letting you know.......:?:

We are letting you know....... i guess it's incorrect/ I would rather say: we kindly inform you.......

I can't agree that it's incorrect.

It's certainly more formal -- and therefore more expected -- to say "informing you" than "letting you know."

(I don't see "kindly" used often in business correspondence.)
