Is "conflict" a proper expression as a word for colonial war? I think that word only reflects the position of the imperialist powers, I wonder if this word is an appropriate expression. Please explain based on specific grounds:)

Welcome to the forum. :hi:

Please tell us, based on specific grounds, why you think it "only reflects the position of imperialist powers". Also, please explain what you mean by "the position of imperialist powers".

Note that a word and an expression are not the same thing.

Yes.

I think that word only reflects the position of the imperialist powers.

Why?

I wonder if this word is an appropriate expression.

Why not?

Please explain based on specific grounds[STRIKE]ㅠㅠ[/STRIKE]! [STRIKE]:)[/STRIKE]

What do you mean by "specific grounds"?

Welcome, Lucu!

What did you find when you looked up conflict?

I'm not even sure what "colonial war" is intended to mean, but certainly wars of any type are conflicts. Conflict is a very general term covering everthing from the pettiest rivalry to all-out nuclear holocaust.

Let's put this thread on hold until we get some input from the OP.

Apparently it is Korean internet slang meaning "I'm crying." As it is not English I have removed it from the original post.

That unfortunately means we have now lost the opportunity for the OP to explain what it means (in English), which was (I think) part of the point of Rover's question . Mind you, it looks as if the OP has vanished into thin air so never mind.

Yup. I don't think we were destined to enjoy the fruits of Lucu's wisdom anyway.
