People usually say "is gone" to tell someone that something is missing or lost but "go" is an intransitive verb but why do people say "is" before itYour question someone make any sense, unfortunately. Can you try to ask it using other words?

As you can see, the word "gone" in this example is an adjective. It means something like "no longer present."
