a guy in a drama (How I met your mother) said that sentence.

As for grammar, I think it's very wrong sentence, but many native speakers seem that kind of sentence.

Could I ask what I should do to change that sentence into a formal sentence.

Let me try first.

"What should I say for us to (we) get these crazy kids back together?"

Am I right?

No, that's not quite what it means. It means:
"What do you say to the idea of our getting these crazy kids back together?"
"I think we should try to get these crazy kids together again. What do you say to that?"

Basically, "What say ..." is an idiom meaning, "What do you say to the idea that ..."
More examples:
"What say we go to movies tonight?"
"What say I pick you up at 8?"
"What say you bring your sister and her boyfriend?"

:up: And, incidentally, nothing is 'a slang'; 'slang' is not countable. Your question should be 'Is it a slang expression?'

However, the error is so common that I suspect it may be a recognized feature of English as a Lingua Franca. (Even then, I greatly dislike it. ;-))
