Hi Everyone,

I just got this sentence from a book "Can you send us something about the ABC project were involved in last year?" In english grammar, we cannot use preposition before "last","this" and "next", why the author used "in" before last year, is it correct? Please advise.

This is a strange sentence. Where did you find it?

The project that we were involved in.
Last year's project that we were involved in.
In goes with involved, not with last year.
