Is it okay to use "two was's" in a row?

Doe this work?

Before long, she was a basketball player and all she was was a basketball player. She couldn't imagine doing anything other than playing basketball.

Yes. It works grammatically but I don't really know what you mean by saying that's all she was.

It means that there was nothing of importance in her life apart from basketball.
