Hello,

This is my first question in this Forum, I hope someone can help, I'm new at learning English and I was wondering if this sentence is correct.

SENTENCE: I haven't seen it when it was finished. (talking about a downloaded file).

Thanks.

I would say 'I didn't see the file when the download was complete', but I am not a teacher.

Welcome to using English.

We are glad you have joined us.

However, for future posts, please choose a title for your thread that says what is in the post. Simply asking whether a sentence correct is not a good thread title. If you use that title for all of your questions, you will not be able to tell them apart. You could call this thread "I haven't seen the file" for example.

Thank you so much, that was very helpful.

Mooradist, clicking on the 'Thank' button can obviate the need for a new post saying 'Thank you'; such is one of the many unwritten rules on this forum.

Do you mean that you have not looked at the file since you downloaded it? Or that you can't find the file?

Haven't looked

"I downloaded it, but I haven't looked at it yet."

Good catch, Dave. I thought that the file could not be found!
