Hello.

I have a doubt to clarify.

Please ignore the seemingly awkward flow of the sentence.

1) She has blonde hair and is wearing a pink dress.
2) She has blonde hair and was wearing a pink dress.

Which sentence is correct?

They are both correct depending on context.

Hi.

Do you mind elaborating further? :)

Do you understand the difference between the present tense and the past tense?

I understand the difference.

It's just that some people can't accept that both ways could be correct and thinks putting a "was" is incorrect due to present of "has" a (present tense) at the start of the sentence.

The present tense for hair is different from the tense of her dress. Most girls don't change their hair color every time they change clothes.
