I can't see whether the expression of this tweet is a straight opinion, or a sarcastic one. Because the author is used to uphold science (which is not compatible with religion), against police state and less appreciating such media like Daily Mail.

Can you see if it is straight, or sarcastic?

When you have the Church of England, the police, and the Daily Mail against you, it’s probably time to review your decision.

When three such diverse entities agree that you've made the wrong decision, you might want to reconsider it.

Yes. You have, to a certain degree, to revise or compromise your decision even if you know you are on the right track.

But you've not answered my question yet.

He used understated, mildly sarcastic language.
