Hi teachers,

1) You must inform me of/about the situation. I would to know if we can use "of and about" with no changing meaning with 'inform'?

2) I'm familiar with this language.
This language is familiar to me. Here we have to use "to"?

3) An oven is worked/used by electricity. Please correct this.

4)It is a dirty place. You should play in that place. Correct? I want to know if "in" is used before "place" in this sense.

1) 'Inform me of' and 'inform me about' are both commonly used, both with the meaning of 'give me information about'.

2) The 'to' is needed in the second usage, yes.

3) 'An oven uses electricity', or even 'is powered by electricity'.

4) 'You should play in that place' - yes, 'in' is used here.
