It is only after this hidden clearance has been accounted for, will the correct bumping clearance be found.

Although I am not a native speaker of English, I have some serious reservations about correctness of the above-mentioned sentence. In my opinion, the sentence should read as follows:

1. It is only after this hidden clearance has been accounted for that the correct bumping clearance will be found.

It would be a split sentence.

or

2. Only after this hidden clearance has been accounted for, will the correct bumping clearance be found.

It would be a case of inversion.

I may be wrong.

What do you think of the sentence under discussion?

Thank you.

Your #1 version is the best.

What do you think of the second one? Is it acceptable?

Yes. Without the comma.
