My friend asked my what my hobby is.
I replied that It is reading, swimming and cycling.

I have 3 hobbies, but I viewed them as one, that's why I used singular verb - is.

Is my reply correct?

No, you would need to say "I have three hobbies. They are reading, swimming and cycling".

Unless you do them as a combined activity.:);-)
