"Wrong of you" is idiomatic, but "for" isn't incorrect.

They're both grammatical but the structure differs, which is revealed with reformulation:
To say such a thing to her was wrong of you.
For you to say such a thing to her was wrong.
To say such a thing to her was wrong of you.
For you to say such a thing to her was wrong.
