I am trying to form a sentence. Would you help me form and give other alternatives conveying the idea intended.

1. It's very hard for ordinary people to understand this.

Thank you.

.

That's clear. However, you could also say:

It's very hard for the average person to understand.

3. Understanding of this is very hard for ordinary people.

What do you think above, which at first I wanted to mean?

Thank you.

Say:

Understanding this is very hard for ordinary people.

That's all for now.

Would you please explain what "That's all for now" means?

Thank you.

I expect Tarheel has nothing more to add on this topic.

I had to go do something else. I had no more time to post at that point. There might have been more I could have said, but I didn't have time for it.

(If you put "Thank you" in every post it makes it become meaningless. Instead, you can use the "Thank" button. (I get paid in likes. ;-) ))

If you put "Thank you" in every post it makes it become meaningless.
It also adds work to responders who want to minimize forum space in quoted text. I delete "Thank you" from every post that I quote.

I understand the impulse to add some polite words to every post, but these thanks would be best added to the poster's signature line.

Thank you. :)

I understand it now. We have a similar sentence-like phrase. Is "That's all for now" a fixed phrase, idiom, idiomatic expression etc? I think it's very natural to your language.

No. He was just saying he was done.

No. He was just saying he was done.

But does "now" in "That's all for now" imply the speaker will probably add new things in the future? He was done for now, but might he continue in the future?

Thank you.

Thank you.
Now that you've put Thank you into your signature line, you don't have to type it in your posts.

Thank you. :)

There have to be some alternatives before there can be other alternatives.
